He has more than 15 years of professional experience in positions as Head of the Competition and Public Law Area of Ferrero Abogados, sub head of the legal area of Primax S.A. advising in regulatory and contractual affairs in the hydrocarbons business; Technical Secretary of the Dispute Settlement and Claims Tribunal and of the Board of Directors of OSITRAN, an entity in which he also served as Legal Manager, Secretary of the Board of Directors and Secretary of the Better Regulation Committee. He participated as representative of OSITRAN in the sessions of the Regulatory Policy Committee and the Network of Economic Regulators of the OECD, as well as in workshops of Regulatory Impact Analysis - RIA organized by the OECD.

He has been advisor of public entities, private companies and international cooperation agencies such us German development cooperation – GIZ and Development Bank of Latin America – CAF on regulatory improvement topics.

He has been a lecturer at PUCP and Universidad del Pacifico of the regulation course. He has also been a lecturer of RIA and Better Regulation courses at Universidad del Pacifico and OSITRAN. He has coordinated a Program on Better Regulation with the Postgraduate School of Universidad de Piura (UDEP).
